Executive Summary


As Google is the most popular web search engine which people use around the world, why and what factors magnetize almost people exploit it. This research conducts a questionnaire in order to answer these questions. This questionnaire inquires the answers from 30 respondents. These respondents are undergraduate and postgraduate students of RMIT University and have different nationalities. There are two main sections of question which observe the respondents what purposes and what factors they choose Google as web search engine. This research is paying more consideration to the result of questions that ask about what factors attract the respondents to use Google web search engine. The agreement level in those questions show out that convenience factors and utility factors are the attractive points of why people satisfy to use Google web search engine.

Executive summary:

TriggerThat is a SMS channel communication application developed by TriggerThat Software company incorporation with RMIT University, Australia. The application allows students and academics to communicate via SMS from their phone. TriggerThat allows students to request information such as their lecture and tutorial times, assignment grades etc. Academics have the facility of sending reminders to students as well. TriggerThat is the newest technology in this scope for the first time in Australia. Providing top market services by extending the comfort to students and lecturers TriggerThat comes as a free service to lecturers and students as well. Future development is evident with TriggerThat hence it’s an investment for the future. The complete package of TriggerThat includes the native TriggerThat SMS application, the Spreadsheet Costing model, the backend database, and the promotional website. All applications are designed to support each other for the ultimate goal of producing a valuable solution through TriggerThat. The opportunity created by SMS costs reducing at a strong rate has been absorbed by this TriggerThat application. Providing a quick, cheap communication for emergency needs and a very much accessible solution for alerting and reminding students has been achieved by this system. In this document we illustrate the supporting applications and website which has been developed to support the implementation of TriggerThat at RMIT explaining their functionality and uniqueness.

The project analysed the IT strategy to integrate and aligning family-owned small multi-businesses. The scale of project is focusing in Small Medium Enterprise (SME) in developing country. The topic chosen due to an opportunity of Implementing ICT to current ages where the ubiquity of Internet and networking as a factor. The research carried out by taken a real case study from a company who is planning to implement ICT to their family-business. This project prepared a structure for Y&A Company by proposing the company a strategy preparation, which finding is exploring the feasibility, The Business-IT values, and trustworthy in facing business culture change.
